Matt needs to know, "Ou est un cafe en NYC?"

Well Matt, voila...alas a french bistro that feels truly like a step into France.

I've been dying to try Bistro Citron for a while, because I heard the burger was fantastic. Alas, everything looked so amazing that I couldn't bring myself to order the burger. The piece de resistance were the poached eggs baked in bacon and wine (the name of it is escaping me) but the memory of the taste is unbelievable. We also had the frisee salad with beets which was a generous portion but I'm not convinced the beets were fresh. My friend had the steak frites which was beautifully cooked and I had the ostrich which was quite good with chesnuts and baby potatoes. I noticed the table next to me had a lamb shank which looked great. We also had really nice Cotes Du Rhone by the glass. I must say, we had an amazing experience and I look forward to going back. Bistro Citron on Columbus 82 and 83.
