Noone asked but I must tell...So, I'm amazed by Fresh Direct, they aren't perfect, but they are really darn good. When the Rosa Mexicana program started, I wasn't as curious. Given that I've eaten at Rosa and felt it couldn't be as good. A friend once served me the pork chops and I was so impressed. So, when the Tabla menu came out I was dying to try. I've never been to Tabla but have always wanted to go. With that being said, when I was ordering my Fresh Direct on Monday I thought, oh I'll just try something... So this is what I tried...Tabla Banana-Leaf Wrapped Coconut-Cilantro Salmon (1 fillet per pack) $7.99 and Tabla Chickpea Masala-$6.99/each. I made myself some five minute cous cous (tossing in cinnamon, really good flavored salt and some basil olive oil) and WOW! Seriously, I don't think I've had a better meal in my own home. I had to take the smallest bites to enjoy it all. In fact, I think I might invite some people over just to make it again and impress myself. OK, I know I didn't make it but it felt like I did.
